Keeping Your Keys Safe in the Post

Our keys are all packaged very carefully to disguise the contents of the envelope. For plastic-headed keys, we use padded jiffy bags for added safety.

Due to the nature of modern cars, the transponder keys we post are not coded, and so cannot be used to start the engine of your car. They can however, be used to open the doors, so we always recommend using an address where the car is not kept to have the keys sent to. This could be a work address, or a relative's or friend's address. That way, if the letter is intercepted, the address cannot be linked to the car In any way. This is purely a precaution, and in 30 years, we have never known of an incident due to theft of one of our keys in the post.

Keys are sent by Royal Mail First Class as standard for free within the UK. Recorded delivery or other insured/ tracked postage options are available on request.
